Xaver’s animated short film ROADTRIP was screened in over a 100 international film festivals, won a trophy in Annecy and was nominated for the German Shortfilm Award and the First Steps Award. Later Xaver shifted to life action. DOWN DOWN DOWN (shot in preparation for his first feature film) premiered at the Max Ophüls Preis in 2018. Xaver has done numerous animated shorts for commercial & cultural clients. His official music video for the DJ Hell single I WANT YOU (featuring the drawings of gay pride icon TOM OF FINLAND) was a small popculture phenomenon.
